Beyonce Pays Tribute To Murdered Rapper Nipsey

Beyonce was the latest star to pay tribute to late rapper Nipsey Hussle Monday, a day after the rapper was shot to death at age 33 in South Los Angeles.

The 37-year-old songstress on Monday posted a child shot of the musical artist, whose real name was Ermias Asghedom.

'I’m praying with every ounce of my heart for your family,' Beyonce wrote, adding, 'Rest In Peace, Nipsey.'

The superstar singer was among a number of big names to express their grief at Hussle's death, as standouts from the worlds of entertainment, sports, politics and beyond have sent their condolences after the Sunday shooting at Nipsey's store, Marathon Clothing.

'This doesn’t make any sense!' Rihanna wrote Sunday on Twitter. 'My spirit is shaken by this! Dear God may His spirit Rest In Peace and May You grant divine comfort to all his loved ones! … I’m so sorry this happened to you @nipseyhussle.'
